As general contractor, Crow Construction Corp. renovated a former Rite Aid location in Dover, NH, into an energy efficient, modern, multi-tenant building with anchor tenant Kennebunk Savings Bank. The construction schedule was rigorous: framing to finish in 60 days, including 2 weeks with round-the-clock shifts. All deadlines met; project completed on time and within budget.
Upgrades required for banking customers included demolishing a portion of the building, a complete interior fit-up and reconfiguring the drive-through lane. The Crow team added a 2nd drive thru lane with pneumatic tubes and an ATM for customer vehicular access. Two additional retail spaces are available for lease (3,000 sq. ft. each.) Michael J. Keane Architects was the project designer. Of note: The existing site was led by the Crow team in 1997 to construct a pharmacy/retailer. The property owner was so pleased with Crow Construction’s quality of workmanship and performance, they contracted Crow to upgrade the facility in 2012.
